Warning

This command does not involve "Bit Backup" repository. Instead it is intended for additional control of integrity of files.

This command is intended for creation list of files and directories in the given root directory together with all their file attributes.

• If the file bitbackupindex exists at the start, then:

  • file bitbackupindexold (if exists) is deleted

  • file bitbackupindex is renamed to bitbackupindexold

• The output of analyse command (list of files and directories) is stored to file bitbackupindex.
