Game Overview

Speedy Eggbert is a fun side-scrolling adventure that provides hours of fun and excitement. The objective is to guide the talented Speedy Eggbert through the levels to collect the eggs and the special treasures. Help Speedy Eggbert through the worlds and on to victory!

Opening Menu –The first menu displayed after the game loads. From here you can:

	Play---Takes you to the Main Menu.
	Demo—Runs a demo of Speedy Eggbert.
	Quit Eggbert—Exits the program.

Main Menu –Speedy Eggbert’s main interface. Choose from the following options:

	Choose Player---Allows you to choose a player name.
	Single Player—Begins a single player game.
	Multiplayer—Allows you to play over the internet.
	Design—Creates missions for Speedy Eggbert.
	Settings—Changes sound and music volumes along with the controller type.
	Finish—Exits to the Opening Menu.

Game Paused Menu-Pressing the ESC key brings up this menu. From here you can:
- Configure the game settings (sound,music, controller type).
- Display a list of available commands.
- Continue the game.
- Quit the game.*

*Quitting the game and exiting the program will be slightly different depending on where you are in the game. Listed below are the steps for quitting the game and for quitting the program.

Pressing ESC and choosing Quit Game will:
1)     Bring Speedy Eggbert back to the “level selection” screen. (If in “practice level”, you will be taken back to the “world selection” screen. Go to step 3)
2)    Press ESC again to bring Speedy Eggbert back to the “world selection” screen.
3)     Press ESC again to bring Speedy Eggbert back to the Main Menu.
4)     Press Finish to exit to the Opening Menu.
5) Finally, press Quit Eggbert to exit the program.
